Terracotta, Terra cotta or Terra-cotta, is a type of earthenware. This ceramic clay was used by the first emperor of China, Qin Shi Huang, to create the Terracotta Army, his legendary forces frozen in the stillness of sculptures to protect the funeral ground of the emperor. It resembles the greatness, superiority, and the vast power of the emperor's reign. This is a truely symbolic and fasinating color scheme! This one-of-a-kind, custom Ural Gear Up with a powder coated Terracotta body also includes a durable flat black powder coated drivetrain and frame. Standered aluminum drivetrain parts, (including the engine, transmission, final drive, backing plate for the side car brake mechanism), often vulnerable to salt, humidity, and other conditions, have been thoroughly protected by a stylish, black powder coat. Adequately, the hubs too have been powder coated black. In addition, the air filter housings on this bike match the terracotta body, for a custom and complete look. Heated grips have also been installed for cold conditions. To retain the original factory look, the heating components and wiring is integrated within the steering bar so that only a switch by the right grip (see photos) is visible. To top things off, this Gear Up has also been assembled with a rear passenger kit and sidecar windshield to comfortably and safely increase the seating capacity to 3.
