This actually stops the inherent front steering wobble BUT it adds about 10 to 15 pounds of resistance to the steering so you will have to adjust to the heavier feel. Was it worth it, YES.

For several years I have been living with a little headshake on my 2019 Gear-up around 10 to 15 mph. So I finally bought the off-road damper from Uralne. What a difference! Steering is a little heavy at slow speeds but I can handle that so much easier than the head shake I had. That new damper really works!

Work well not as easy to put on since everything is under tension. overall it is great for stability and well worth it. But it is very hard turn turn at low speed. Takes a little to get use to.

Very good on road, have not been off road with it yet. Care needs to be taken when flying the car. Turning to the right takes a lot more effort.

Excellent, like old school non power steering. Very stable and gives a feeling of safety and control.

Skeptical but bought it anyway. Easy to install. Went for a test drive and WOW, what a difference. I can “feel the road” when making turns. Stops and take offs are even better. Improved my 2005 more than I could have imagined.

Installed it last night, when stationary it feels incredibly dampened. (as stated and warned)
It does feel amazingly firm on the road and stable.
My concern is during lower-speed whip arounds. It does not snap back to center if you're making a quick U-turn and can be delayed in centering and thus keep you pulled in the direction a tad longer than expected. I'll keep it on and see how I feel after getting used to it some more. The handful of times I flew the car with this on since last night were a tad unnerving. Will keep you posted, overall it does what described and it was super easy to install.

Just installed it today. Dubious...went on a test drive...could not believe how well it worked. I am not one to expect much from upgrades/accessories etc., but I have to say this damper turns the URAL from a "shoulder shake" into a stable beast, not to mention makes flying the chair a real breeze!

Amazing change,increases stability on and off road,eliminates the wobble on the washboard at speed.All around it handles better,a little stiff at first,I came to appreciate that the first corner I dove into on the gravel road,,and it's all gravel around here and that's why I bought a Ural.Very nice, appears to be a solid unit.My only gripe was having to hog out one of the bolt holes on the strut end bracket.Boo hoo,,I'm also most grateful for NE Ural's quick shipping,I received my order 3 days after ordering.The fact you guys keep Ural parts in stock is great,as my local dealer does not, 2 to 3 week wait.Thanks!
