A third, high-speed damping valve is built into the compression cartridge and pre-set to respond to sharp, high-speed bumps. These are the hits that can unsettle conventional suspension, especially under heavy braking and cornering loads, so you stay in control during aggressive riding.

Professional Installation Required

Because installation is complex and needs specialist tools, TVT cartridge kits should only be fitted by Nitron or one of their authorized fitting centers. Nitron doesn’t currently offer a factory installation service for fork cartridges, but a network of approved Nitron specialists is available worldwide. Good to know before installation:

• Both fork legs must be removed from the bike.
• Replacing the fork seals and checking the bushings is recommended, since they need to be in good condition for the cartridges to work properly. Use quality seals and bushings, as cheaper ones can increase friction and wear the fork tube coating.
• Nitron 02 Synthetic Fork Oil must be used when servicing, for correct performance, safety, and durability. It’s included if you choose an approved installation service.
