New Ural owner suggested 1st modification
Stop unnecessary loss of final drive fluid with this upgrade. I replaced dipstick washer with same sealing washer used on engine oil drain pan as stays put on dipstick threads and also used same sealing washer used on valve cover bolts when closing off vent with hex bolt. As stated by other reviewer modify total length of bolt with washer no longer than original vent bolt threads and dress end of bolt with bevel. Real joy pulling in after long ride and seeing no oil all over tire & rim final drive side. Cheers!

Best fix out there for a leaky factory final drive breather
The original breather threads are only 8mm long, so wanted to ensure that my set screw doesn't protrude past that length - use 8M-1.25x8mm. Would prefer to use Socket Head Cap Screw but shortest seems to be 10mm and was afraid to extend too far into the housing. Red loctite to secure in place.

Works Good
After having to replace my Final Drive TWICE last year, I was very paranoid with the way my gear oil always came out of the original breather not wanting a third time on my 2016. My only recommendation would be some instructions with the part (as in what size bolt to use to plug the original breather after removal) lucky this is a wide spread manufacturing defect and others have posted 8X1.25MM so I was able to have on hand for installation. My only complaint is the fact that a manufacturing defect has to be corrected by the consumer and not the manufacture. All in all, the dipstick works good as advertised and no more leaks as of yet after about 100 miles today.

Solved the oil leak on the final drive
Anyone who has a 2014 and up Ural, this is a must have and worth it. The 2014 and up will leak gear oil out of the final drive vent while driving at highway speeds, they put the vent too low on the final drive housing. I removed my vent, plugged the hole with a 8Mx1.25mm set screw, used RTV sealer on the threads, and replaced the dipstick with the one with the vent. I put over 200 miles on the Ural so far driving at highway speeds and no leaks anywhere.

Good
Good quality and packaged well, but a little over priced. Arrived quickly.
