Turn the famous Spotlight of your Gear Up into a powerful headlamp. Easy to install German Hella lens and a powerful H4 bulb of your choice – LED or Halogen. This Hella lens is used on a lot of European cars. Made from glass, it has engineered glass pattern that puts the light on the road for the best visibility while keeping oncoming traffic drivers (and riders) most comfortable.
Tip: LED bulbs produce a lot of light with minimum energy consumption. We highly recommend using it, especially if you already have LED bulbs in the bike headlamp or driving lamps or plan on converting in the future. If you do not plan on using LED lighting and would like this upgrade to look consistent with the rest of the lighting on the bike, use the Halogen bulb option.
Note: The H1 bulb from the original spotlight lens will not fit in this Hella lens. The pins on the H4 bulb will also need to be filed down to accept the factory lighting connector.

New Housing with LED Bulb
I replaced my fogged-in original spotlight lens on my 2017 Gear Up with this upgraded lens and LED bulb. The new set up is much brighter than the original and Install is very easy but be aware of 2 things. 1. The LED bulb has a plug with 3 blades. The right blade is for the ground wire, the left is for high beam, and the top horizontal is for low beam. You have to choose between high and low beam when you connect the power wire. 2. In my case, the blades on the plug were slightly wider than the female spade connectors on both the ground and power wires inside the light housing. I used a Dremel tool with a grinding bit to narrow the blades slightly to make them fit. I would have given 5 stars for both the lens and bulb if the product descriptions on the website explained the configuration of the plug blades and the fact the blades may need to be shaved to fit the wiring.
