Expand the shifting abilities to the maximum. The top of the line Forward & Reverse Hand Shifter Kit allows the rider to shift through forward gears using the upper fuel tank handle (foot shifter still present and can be used), and engage Reverse gear with the lower shifter handle. All without having to bend over. Provides a luxurious and effortless experience shifting through gears as well as engage reverse.
Note: Does not fit on 2014 and newer Retro/M70 models. Fits on 2008-2013 Retro/M70 models with minor modifications.
Foot shifter interferes with newer 2020 kick starter lever.

Can't Live Without it!
If anyone is wondering about this accessory, I put a hand shifter on my 1st Ural, a Yamal, in 2012. Had another on my 2014 Gear Up and now have one on my 2019 Overland. So the 2019 has every accessory you can have but the absolute one I would not be without is the hand shifter. It makes a cool rig cooler. It’s also fun as hell to use.

Installation instructions
Installation would be so much easier if photos or a video showing the installation were available. Seems like this would be pretty simple for them to provide given the other great videos they have produced.

Impressive Quality, Fit and Finish
The hand shifter makes riding my 2006 Ural so much easier. I feel that I have positive control of gear shifting compared to the foot shift. I installed it myself and I was a little surprised to find bolt holes lining up and general ease of installation. The powder coating is perfect ! I highly recommend this excellent accessory.

Love the new shifter
The shifter is a little salty in price. But I love the way it works. It took a few hours to get it installed on the bike. Which wasn’t bad considering I’m not a mechanic. I would definitely suggest purchasing one as it makes the shifting easier and the ride so much more fun. It’s definitely a conversation starter. People love to stop and ask about this bike.

Swift, sure shifting
No more doubt about where the gears are on my '07 Patrol, and neutral and reverse are right there when I want them. Although I am a 69 year old woman and still barely walking after an accident three years ago, I was able to instal this myself. Great product!

Love this shifter, can't imagine riding without it.It is definately an attention getter while riding in city traffic.
