Designed by Ural of New England in collaboration with one of the best woodworking shops. This dashboard is made from Sapele Mahogany which is often found in Congo and grows to a height of up to 60 meters (197 feet). Very hard wood, it has a density of 40 pounds per cubic foot, and known for its distinctive figure pattern. Because of its unique structural and appearance qualities it is often used in musical instruments. Cadillac uses Sapele wood for interior wood trim and Forte Audio uses it in the construction of their “Forte Clarity” line of hi-end headphones.
Fits perfectly in the sidecar of your Ural it contributes to the refined feel and adds functionality allowing placement of the cigarette lighter (12V power) plug and a auxiliary switch. We designed the bottom edge with the slight curve for elegant look and better comfort for feet placement. For a solid fit and to eliminate wood stress it has rubber dampening gaskets that are placed between the wood and metal mounting surface.
Note: Sidecar fuse panel 12v socket needs to be removed, and mounting tab cut out for proper installation.

Slight mods needed
Do do have to removed the existing mount and switch harness bracket to install the item. However, all you need to do is remove part of the metal bracket (hacksaw or saws all). Then you can reinstall it and there will be room for the dash. In my case some of the wiring to the power outlet was a tight stretch so I spliced in some wiring to make it les of a strain. Looks beautiful now installed!
