Much better overall lighting and European look are achieved by advanced Headlamp lens and reflector technology. With the same power used, much more actual light lands where you need it most on the road. Another benefit is that the bulb is replaceable by itself. In addition, for off-road use a 100W bulb can be installed for even more lighting. Our H4 Headlamp upgrade includes lens and reflector assembly and standard H4 halogen bulb. Very simple installation. Savings on future maintenance - all you will need to do in the future when the light goes out is to replace the bulb only instead of the entire sealed beam.

Hella headlamp with LED BULB

very nice light pattern
Really nice light, just wish someone had mentioned to turn led bulb to face up (only has lights on one side), tried to find any sort of instructions online, but failed, had to wait till night and keep taking apart and trying different configurations till I found the one that worked best, once turned up, (counter intuitive) it put out a really nice patterned beam flat across the top and well out to the sides, very good visibility and easy to aim. High beam seems a little shy of what I would like, but could just be me, bought it for low pattern at any rate.

Great improvement, but wait...
Bought the Hella system with LED. True to the description, it came with the H4 Halogen lamp. Fine, but I figured the Halogen lamp would be swapped out with the LED and a credit given. I have no use for the Halogen lamp. Also, on my 2017 Gear-Up there is a parking lamp in the headlight, there is no parking lamp in the Hella reflector headlight like the OE had.
