1. Turn off ignition.
2. For Non-navigation systems, connection is made at the radio in the dash. Systems with navigation are connected to the radio module in the trunk. Connect the round/flat pin harness between the radio/module and original vehicle harness.
3. For round/flat pin cable, if you have a small black plug at the original connector, this needs to be reconnected to the radio with BT-interface cable, otherwise this causes NO audio for navigation. With a original cd-changer, you need to disconnect the 2 small plugs directly at the cd-changer in the trunk.
4. The MIC is installed easiest near the speedometer or center console. If needed use a 3.5mm AUX extension.
5. After installation and before reinstalling the radio, test the device. Select CD-changer button (NOT AUX-IN) at your radio. Press CD/Mode-button several times to activate connection.
6. Next test Bluetooth connection, activate Bluetooth at your phone and search for new devices, you can find the device there as "BlueSpeak". No PIN is needed for connection.
7. If you have a DSP1 sound system and have NO audio, but can select the device as CD-changer, you need to use a DSP-interface in addition to the BT-interface
Music starts automatically when choosing device as a CD-changer at your radio. Manually you can start music with CD2 radio button. Music stops when switching to a different radio source. Please set phone volume to 90-100% for optimal audio. You can set call volume seperately during a phone call directly from your phone.
Receiving a call in cd-changer mode (the interface is active at the radio), the music stops and your ringtone takes over. To take/reject the call use the next/previous track buttons at your radio/steering wheel.
If you are listening to the radio or or cd/cassette and receive a call, choose the interface as cd-changer at your your radio, this automatically answers the call. To end a call use the previous Track button or switch to your previous radio mode.
To reset the paired device list (this can be useful with connection problems) double press the next track button on the radio, you should hear a confirmation when successfully done. This only works with no phone currently connected.
